Rosewood Hong Kong granted HACCP food safety system certification from BSI

Recently, Rosewood Hong Kong successfully passed an audit conducted by the BSI Pacific Limited and acquired the international food safety management system certification of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), underlining that the company's food safety and production management are at the forefront of global standards and requirements.

This risk management tool is primarily used to manage food safety risks. A HACCP system allows the company to identify hazards and put in place controls to manage these throughout the supply chain during production. The HACCP scheme meets the requirements of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) – established by the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations to bring together international food standards, guidelines and codes of practice to ensure fair trade. It can also be used to support management standard requirements, such as ISO 22000 Food Safety Management.
This HACCP certification further underlines Rosewood Hong Kong’s strict regulations on preparation, heat treatment, hot or cold holding, and serving food and beverages in the back kitchen and restaurants.
While this is a big milestone for Rosewood, in order to maintain the certification, Rosewood Hong will continue to strive for excellence, to maintain the food safety for their guests.
